Hello
Hey, I’m Litsa—an Indigenous woman, full-time dreamer, and the hands behind Bakd by Lit.
Baking wasn’t always the plan—but it became my peace. After getting sober, I needed something that felt like healing, like home. So I started baking. One pie turned into a dozen cheesecakes, which turned into a business built on resilience, community, and damn good desserts.
I’m not a classically trained pastry chef, but I am a flavor chaser, a perfectionist with a spatula, and someone who believes the best things in life are made from scratch (and maybe topped with a little whipped cream).
Everything I bake reflects a piece of my story—rooted in Indigenous culture, sprinkled with joy, and shared with love. Whether it’s a maple-sweetened blueberry cheesecake or a pistachio honey cookie, you’re tasting something personal.
This business started in my kitchen, after work hours, during the quiet parts of the night when most people were asleep—and it’s still growing. With every sale, every follower, and every kind word, I get one step closer to opening a permanent space for Bakd by Lit.
Thanks for supporting a woman-owned, Indigenous-owned bakery run on hustle, heart, and a little sweet rebellion.
